This is the Henslowe Shawl pattern by my new fave Beth Kling knit in TFA Red Label Cashmere Silk Singles in the Frost colourway. Frost was last years inaugural TFA Year In Colour Club colourway and I totally love it. It's soft and grey and blue and though I think that this version might be even softer and greyer than the original I love it all the same. With a little more practice to make sure that I can get it just I way I want it in all the TFA yarn bases, this colourway is well on it's way to making it into the TFA collection full time.

This shawl is a really nice balance of interesting and simple. The construction is really neat, but none of the steps or stitches are overly complicated or require too much focus. The garter stitch body stands up really nicely and is the perfect textural pairing for the light and airy lace. It's also completely reversible and let me tell you, in this yarn... it's like buttah! I'm obsessed.

It is stunning! I'm currently knitting with the Red label and it's heaven. Glad to hear that Frost is making its way to the collection!
Beautiful Tanis! Can't wait for frost to hit the TFA line, I confess I was hoping for just that when I saw it last year ;)
Oh my goodness, that's beautiful! Something about that color is just PERFECT for that pattern.
P.S. I'm finally getting caught up on my blog reading and just read your Christmas post -- the photo of all the cousins in onesie pj's is awesome!! Getting pj's on Christmas Eve is a tradition in my family, too. I wish I had the courage to post the photo of my husband, baby, and I all in our matching candy-striped pj's this year!
Beautiful colour, and pattern! Great job!
Hmm, I think now I know what to do with the Red Label in Atlantic I purchased in November... Thanks!
So beautiful!! Frost is going to be such a hit in all the yarn bases, for sure!
Loving that colour. It will be a great addition to your colour line up and oh so special in Red Label.
It's so beautiful... nothing needs to be added ;-)
That is soooooo beautiful! That soft gray, blue-green color is my all time favorite. 90% of the walls in my house are painted this shade and I can't wait until you release this gorgeous colorway to the public! :)
This is incredibly beautiful and I absolutely love the colour!
Just beautiful and I absolutely love the color!
I love this colour and your knit! I can't wait for my first shipment in Year of Colour!!
It's so beautiful & a perfect combination of color & pattern. I love the color!
What a beautiful shawl. I agree that the garter stitch balances out the lace really well, and a gorgeous colourway too :-)
This is so pretty!
I've yet to try lace work and this looks like a very good place to start!
Beautiful! I bought the pattern and now have to order some colors! Were you able to complete this shawl with one skein of Red Label?
beautiful! I love this pattern if that wasn't already obvious. I've knit it twice and wouldn't hesitate to knit again when the mood strikes.
This is BEAUTIFUL! You did such a great job. I want to touch it so badly too, ;-)
Great work!
