TFA Tuesday: Ode to Joy Scarf
This beautiful scarf is the Fagus pattern, worked up in TFA Blue Label Fingering yarn in the colourway 'orange blossom'. I have such a soft spot for this colourway, because orange is a tricky colour to get right, and this one is so soft and warm, with hints of peach and goldenrod. It's actually very wearable, even for a lot of people who don't normally wear orange. And Christine is right to choose it for this beautiful shawl- unexpected colours are perfect for accessories that you can use to accent and turn something basic that you just threw on into a really great outfit with character.

The color and the pattern are beautiful. How large is the scarf?

I like the softer orange color of this. More like a creamsicle orange. Beautiful, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! This scarf is absolutely beautiful and I agree that orange can be a tough color ... but not in this case. Lovely!
