So, back in April 2012 I knit this sweater for my little sister Lilia because she's awesome and also as a thank you for helping me out in my booth at the Knitter's Frolic. And now, just a short year and half later, I've finally gotten FO shots! Lilia wears this cardigan all the time, and there is absolutely nothing that makes a knitter happier than seeing a well loved knit. She was wearing it the other day and I put my foot down and insisted that we take FO shots. And I'm glad that we did because they are adorable! She's the cutest.

I'm not sure she realizes it, but Lilia loves purple the way that I love blue. Growing up, we painted my room a bright turquoise and hers a vivid purple. I can often be spotted wearing head to toe blue accessories. It is not unusual for Lilia to be wearing purple nail polish that matches the purple sweater and socks that she is wearing. She's a purple girl, that's just the way she is, and I love her for it.

So, doesn't she look awesome in her Ombré? And aren't we all thrilled to see how well it has stood up over a year and a half of regular wear? Looking good little sister, rocking the purple punch like it's your job. Oh, and Rowan loves you.
