Check out these beautiful works of art are by New Zealand based artist Jane Denton. I love needlework. I'm not really sure what more needs to be said about this. I am making it a priority to do some stitching on canvas. Imagine geometrics done in lovely, subtly nuanced hand dyed yarns. Imagine incredibly intricate fair isle motifs stitched on canvas. Imagine the possibilities! This makes me excited about art and fiber. Isn't it incredible how sometimes that's all it takes? One innocent little image like the ones above and the mind goes crazy with giddy inspiration! Sweet fiber-y dreams my friends!
