Mallard:

A rich, jewel toned green. Shining bits of blue peeking through. Cool, calm, beautiful. Pairs wonderfully with gold, cobalt and plum.

Moodboard Monday - Frost

Frost:

A lovely pale blue with a touch of cool grey makes for the perfect wearable shade of my favourite colour. I would knit anything and everything in this colourway, what would you knit in Frost?

Moodboard Monday - Royal Flush

Royal Flush:

I used to think of Royal Flush as red, but I now consider it to be decidedly pink. Warm, bright, saturated and spectacular! I love it as a pop of colour paired with any neutral. It also looks terrific against any shade of blue, like the dark navy tones in the road pictured above, or the brighter turquoise sky against the umbrellas.

Rich, saturated, blues! Potentially my favourite colour... but then again I say that about every colour. This time I mean it!

Pink Grapefruit

Sweet, but with a tart finish. Feminine, but not too girly. Cheery and bright, pink grapefruit is just right. What would you knit in Pink Grapefruit?

Brick:
Rich, warm, cozy. I used to think of this colourway as only for fall, now it reminds me of beachy sunsets and bonfires. Pairs beautifully with cooler blues and turquoises as shown by the 2 photos on the left.

Natural:
Clean, crisp, pure. Lets the knitting be the star. Great for texture, lace and fresh starts.

Moodboard Monday - Seabreeze

I thought it would be fun to combine a few of my favourite things into a new occasional blog feature. I'm calling it Moodboard Monday (though it won't happen every Monday, it just has a nice ring to it.) I'll pick a colour that I'm really into right now and make a lovely little moodboard to highlight it's beauty.  It's all about the eye candy really. Enjoy!
