Buttons cowl - what do you think?

I knit myself this little neck warmer a couple of years ago. It knits up with one skein of Green Label Aran weight yarn, has a really cute bobbly all over texture, and is the perfect way to display some precious pearly buttons (or whatever kind of buttons you fancy, they don't have to be pearly!)

What do you think? Should I write up the pattern? It's fairly simple and I just stumbled across my notes from when I knit it back in '09.

  2. It is very pretty.

What colourway is that? I bought a skein of Deep Sea last weekend...maybe it has a new purpose?

  5. I think you should write it up and offer it as a kit - with buttons!

  9. Yes, please write it up. I can just see it with blown glass buttons made by the husband of another blogger I follow. Will you sell it as a kit with a skein of Aran?

  11. I love it. Some of the patterns for cowls look like a car tire hanging around your neck. Very un-chic. I like the compact design and the buttons--it is timeless and would look great with a variety of winter wear (or other spring and fall attire). Please write it up. I will be among the first to buy it along with some of the yarn.
