Thanks so much for the pattern. I love this shawls simplicity and elegance. I look forward to knitting it for a xmas gift for someone special.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is really nice especially the edging. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYAY! I've been anxiously waiting for your pattern. Your shawls turned out lovely.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful shawl! One question - on row2, should the y2 be a K2? Thanks, can't wait to try this.
ReplyDeleteThanks Betsy, yes, Row 2 should have had a k2 and not a y2. Thanks for catching that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pattern! Love it.
ReplyDeletethank you so much for the pattern. i just finished a session of wool dyeing and I will try your shawl!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this. I have had a great weekend knitting one using a purple Zauberball. Because you can see the full colour repeat on the ball its been absorbing to decide what to do next. Will post on Ravelry when its done, its going to be great.
ReplyDeletebeautiful shawl! two questions: in the eyelet row, right before the center stitch, it says "y1". do you mean "k1"?
ReplyDeleteSecond--I have tried on two computers and I can't get the border chart to open/enlarge or change. Is it stuck shrunken in cyber space, or is the internet faulty where I live this week? Thank you!
I have edited the eyelet row instructions to correct where it used to say "y1", it now says "k1". I am currently working on making the border chart enlarge, please bear with me!
ReplyDeleteI'm still very new to knitting and this is pretty easy! I hope I can do that border though, I'm not fluent in charts yet! I've messed up a few spots but all in all, I really LOVE this pattern! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI am looking for only a border to add to a shawl I have finished whose border looks like the designer just quit on! I love your whole shawl and love, love the border... this is my first try at mixing patterns and yes... my first chart. I get it.... but your point... how did you do that? I think that is what caught my eye the most. I find most round the corner... I love the point. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteCan't open the pattern.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this beautiful pattern. What does one do on the even rows of the border? My guess is knit over the knits and purl over the purls, but is that correct? Even though I am an experienced knitter, I don't like working with charts. Do you have a text version of the border? I am sure there are others who would like that as well. Also the chart may have been easier to visualize if it was drawn from top to bottom rather than with row 1 on the bottom (for those of us that are "chart impaired".
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! Thank you for sharing the pattern.
ReplyDeleteLike Rosemary (noon on March 25th) I am also chart impaired. When you respond to her question, can you please email me as well. This looks beautiful and I cannot wait to make it. Thank you - Shalom1844@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI am another who doesn't like grafts so please could you write it out for those of us who are graft impaired. I would love to make this shawl. It looks perfect for the warm spring that is upon us.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think to leave and email address for your response to my question. It is rdmcgarrah@yahoo.com if you don't want to simply post the answer to my question about the border.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I too am having a problem with the border. It looks by your pictures like you have knit the first row except for the yo's . But the pattern says do not knit . How do you do that?
ReplyDeleteThank You for letting this shawl be a free pattern. Read an article today economic reasons why patterns are free, but as a beginner I am glad for a free chance to further my knitting skills. I love the shawl, I hope mine will look a portion as nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful airy shawl. Am looking forward to checking out the other patterns on your site. Thank you for posting it.
ReplyDeleteAm having a problem with the border. Do you continue the yo before each of the three edge stitches and on each side of the centre stitch. The photos do not really show either of these areas once you start doing the border.
ReplyDeleteI am also chart impaired, can you please email me the pattern for the border. This looks beautiful and I cannot wait to make it. Thank you

DeleteI'm also another one that would like the written instructions instead of the graph.
ReplyDeleteLynnebutterfield@yahoo.com
Thank-you.
Did you ever receive the written instructions? I, too, am wanting to knit this shawl but cannot figure out the border!
DeleteHi - I am presently knitting your Prism shawl. It is such a pretty shawl, and mine is coming out very nice, but I am down to the lace border now, and I am having an awful time trying to figure it out, I think I just can't understand the chart. I ripped it out so many times...I hope you can help me. On the first row of the lace chart, I did the K3, yo, to start the row the same as I did for the whole shawl...now what do I do as far as the chart goes. I'm confused with the repeats, and what does the block "no stitch" mean. I know I'll be all right if you can just get me started. My email address is lindabogoly@rcn.com. Thank you so much. Linda
ReplyDeleteI can't do pdf - and I can't do charts - please, please, if you have time, could you send me a copy without the pdf or chart??? This is sooo beautiful and I keep seeing it, and it hurts that I can't make it! :-) :-) Jeannie

An agency hires those people who are experts in sizegenetics and will send them out to where they need to be. You should have them for a home or you're able to have them to your hotel, the option is yours. Many men who ? re looking on a gay sizegenetics will prefer to meet the man in a hotel room. The agency will screen everything so they will be sure that its all safe for both their clients and additionally their workers. In this method, both parties get what they want and one can find no misunderstandings.
